Spotted SF / Mission / Dandelion
Not only does Dandelion produce some of the best small-batch chocolate in the city, they’re also one of the few spots where you can go behind-the-scenes to see how it’s all made. The factory + cafe in the Mission allow you to sample their chocolates (all made on site), talk with a maker (either by sitting at the maker bar, taking a class or joining a tour), and try some of their daily made pastry treats. And there’s always a jar full of house made marshmallows you can help yourself to. They’re also open late so you can pop in for an evening dessert date. In addition to this location, Dandelion has a kiosk at the Ferry Building and will soon open a giant factory also in the Mission.
