Spotted SF / Jackson Square / Shinola
Detroit-based Shinola has a new standalone store here in SF and it is all kinds of lovely. With a focus on high quality and all American-made, they employ talent from Detroit (world class for manufacturing) and partner with other factories + makers from other cities to create a handsome line of handcrafted watches, bicycles, leather goods, journals and accessories. I first discovered the brand a few years ago at our city’s Steven Alan shop and have been sporting two of their watches since. My new favorite accessory is their iPhone case which can be personally monogrammed on site—I bought two as gifts at their TriBeCa shop last year. A great spot to pick up a stylish, quality piece for both the ladies and gents. Additionally the new space will be hosting a regular series of events and workshops (especially with my friends at fullosophie), so there’ll be other fun things to do while you peruse and shop.
