Spotted SF / Dogpatch / Bryr Studio
Nestled among the old brick warehouses in the city’s Dogpatch district you’ll find Bryr Studio, maker of modern and chicly designed clogs inspired by West Coast stylish living. Each pair is custom and handmade on site in your size, silhouette and color using traditional European wooden bases and high quality American leathers. Founder Isobel Schofield and her tiny team of three work with each client to design their pair, then will machine and hand-cut the leathers, staple them to their bases, and attach the finishing details—a process that takes 45-60 days from start to finish. There are so many beautiful styles and colors to choose from that you’ll surely want to own more than one—and you should! I highly suggest you pop in sooner rather than later to ensure you get your pair in time for the new season. The new spring line available on January 15 (some featured above) is especially darling.
Currently the studio is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00-5:00 PM. Follow along on their Instagram for studio updates and events.
