Happy Lunar New Year with Williams-Sonoma
Happy Lunar New Year! I welcomed this year of the sheep with the lovely team at Williams-Sonoma at the exquisitely delicious Hakkasan, a modern Cantonese and Michelin star restaurant with locations around the world, including one here in my beloved SF. What a treat to sample so many tasty small bites and cocktails in such a beautiful setting. It was also an opportunity to preview a vibrant new collection of dinnerware pieces and kitchen tools from Williams-Sonoma, including plates and bowls decorated with symbols of good fortune and prosperity—perfect for the Lunar New Year and other Asian-inspired meals year round. Williams-Sonoma has always been one of my top go-to sources for cookware and appliances and I especially love that they are based here in San Francisco. And they make the in-store shopping experience so enjoyable with complimentary recipe cards and tasty samples to inspire your next meal. Especially around the holidays!
Having the opportunity to preview the new Williams-Sonoma collection has inspired me to start a new series on the blog where I not only feature my favorite spots, but I’ll also share some of my favorite finds within them. So here are some favorites available at a WS store or online + there are plenty more complimentary pieces, too. And look forward to more global-inspired pieces and flavors from Williams-Sonoma throughout the year.
Enjoy the new year and all the festivities and fireworks happening around the city!
