Spotted SF / Outer Sunset / Outerlands
This is the perfect spot for a warm and comfy meal anytime of the day—especially in this often chilly and foggy part of the city. Nothing soothes me more than their cast-iron grilled cheese sandwich (served only during lunch), a cup of their hot ginger lemon apple cider with bourbon, or any of the fresh baked goodness that comes right out of their ovens. They source ingredients from local farmers and suppliers for their dishes. The restaurant has doubled since I did my last feature and now includes a whole second side with a bar and additional seating. Lines are especially long for weekend brunch and I usually don’t mind the wait, as they have large parklets outside where folks can hang out and catch up with friends over coffee. Plus it gives me time to peruse the gorgeous goods at nearby General Store.
