Spotted SF / Mission / Electric Blanket
On my way to a book party a few weeks ago, I passed a building with a bright neon sign and found this cheery little space inside. The first thing I noticed was how everything was arranged in the same order as the colors of the rainbow. I suppose I was drawn to this, as I’ve organized my closet this way for as long as I can remember. For me it made it easier to pick out what to wear. And following a rainbow was always fun, too.
Electric Blanket is what owner Jillian envisioned as her dream space which combines a shop full of vintage pieces, an art gallery, and a community space to enjoy stories, music and film + coffee. Here she serves Handsome Coffee Roasters, which I’ve been hearing so much about from down south. If you leave a little story behind, you can sit and enjoy a free cup. As I was in a bit of a rush to make my event, I didn’t get to leave one of my own. I will surely return, but the space is so darling that I had to share this with all of you now.
