Spotted SF / SOMA / The Meet Market
On the last Saturday of the month, the Bluxome Street Winery plays host to an intimate gathering of local food artisans, farmers and craft makers. It’s the perfect way to spend the day: nibbling on some tasty bites while shopping and enjoying a glass of wine (or a few.) Below is just a sample of the lovely things I captured this past weekend. I can’t wait to visit again next month. Mark your calendar and join me!

Specializing in pickled goodness, jams and mustard. I especially liked their IPA-infused one! They also teach classes on pickling your own veggies and making your own mustard at Workshop in the city.
The super darling and talented Niki hand carves stamps for her bright and whimsy collection of art prints and greeting cards.
Growers of artisan greens and lettuces for many local restaurants and home cooks, too. These folks were offering samples of their Spring Awakening Salad: fresh shoots, lettuces, snap peas, pecorino romano cheese, roasted seed mix, with a meyer lemon vinaigrette. It was sooo good that I had a second serving. For those of us in SF, their salads and greens can be pre-ordered online and picked up at select locations in the city.

This Berkeley couple makes delicious rillettes using local farmed meats, fish and organic produce. Top them on slices of toasted baguette for the perfect appetizer at your next gathering.
Specializing in creative landscaping, wall/vertical/rooftop gardening, succulents and terrariums. For a small space city dweller like me, I was especially loving their brightly colored and hand knotted macrame for plant hanging.
