Spotted SF / Mission / Mission Picnic
I’m so loving the gorgeous weather we’ve been having in SF as of late. Feels like summer arrived early! A couple of sunny weekends ago, I stopped by the new sandwich spot, Mission Picnic. It’s a quaint little joint offering a daily menu of freshly made-to-order sandwiches, salads, juices and other small bites. We tried the San Franciscan (hot pastrami, turkey, provolone, peperoncini) and the Hainan Chicken (pulled chicken, cucumber, cilantro, ginger sauce, garlic butter) + a fresh watermelon juice. Everything was truly amazing! We were so impressed with the tenderness and flavors of their meats + the quality of the bread they use. I’m not always big on sandwiches, as there aren’t too many out there who can do them right. But the guys at Mission Picnic surely know how to. I’m a huge fan now! If you’re looking for a great spot to pick up the essentials for a picnic in park, definitely stop in and pay these guys a visit.
