Spotted SF / SOMA / Bacetti

Who knew gelato could be enjoyed as small, individually wrapped, bite-sized pieces?!?! Well you can. I was actually walking through SOMA to take photos of another spot when I happened upon this place. It’s a tiny shop with only a few seat and a counter offering about eight different flavors and espresso. I tried vanilla, chocolate and the roasted pinenut (my favorite so far!) and I’m heading back next week to try the rest. I love the concept especially when I already have trouble deciding which one or two flavors I want at a regular gelato bar. At this place, I really can pick however many and enjoy them all.

On a separate note…

My friend, colleague and fellow blogger, Melissa, joined me on this day’s adventure. She writes a super sweet foodie blog called Serving Seconds where she shares amazing recipes and gatherings over food with family and friends. In fact, she ate through 7×7’s 2012 Top 100 Eats list (and I believe she’s doing 2013, too) and will be a constant inspiration for new spots to add to my blog. We will be collaborating on an upcoming project and we’re excited to share this with you all soon.
