Spotted SF / Mobile + Online / Half Hitch Goods
Happy new year everyone! I’m certainly happy to be back online and am ready to share some newly discovered favorites around the SF Bay Area. Starting off with the lovely Carrie of Half Hitch Goods and her mobile and online shop of gorgeous gifts. I had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband, Britton, at a couple of their holiday pop-ups this past month. The latest at their rolling store (or vintage VW Vanagon Doka T3 Transporter) parked in the midst of Hayes Valley, which they’ve outfitted with shelves to display their latest collection of new (and a few vintage) goods. Not only is she one of the sweetest folks you’ll ever meet, Carrie has impeccable taste when it comes to picking thoughtful, well-made and beautiful gift items. It was difficult deciding what to keep for myself vs. gifting away. And the fact that she and Britton hit the road to meet the artisans and makers behind the products they carry is pretty awesome, too. I highly recommend signing up for their updates and checking out their journal to see where they (and their big dog, Mason) are popping up or traveling to next. Britton takes really fantastic photos, too.
